Sept 11, 2007 - Beverly Renee Conditt, 35, a teacher at R.C. Fisher (middle) School, pleaded no contest to a charge of improper relationship between a teacher and a 12-year-old male student. She was sentenced to to five years of adjudicated probation.

Conditt’s charge goes back to June and involves a 12-year-old male student. According to the victim’s mother, Conditt was found kissing the victim at her home in the early morning hours of June 20. The incident occurred after a non-school-related outing he went on with the teacher and other children.

... The victim’s mother said the incident was discovered by Conditt’s husband, who then chased the boy out of the house. She said he ran all the way from the house in Crestview Place to Park Highland Nursing Center on Lucas Drive.The staff of Park Highland notified the police after discovering the boy.

Under the terms of the agreement, Conditt will be required to give up her teaching certificate and register as a sex offender.

She will also be required to pay a $1,000 fine and court costs, pay $50 to the county’s Child Advocacy Center, perform 300 hours of community service and attend deviant sex counseling, among other requirements.
