On Friday June 2, 2006 at 3:45pm 32 year old, Woodland resident and Pioneer High School history teacher, Anne Ichord was arrested by Detectives at the Woodland Police Department on charges of unlawful sexual intercourse with a minor (4 counts) oral copulation (2 counts) and sexual penetration (1 count). Ichord was arrested just hours after police had learned of a sexual relationship between her and a male student, who at the time was under the age of eighteen. The incidents of unlawful sexual intercourse apparently occurred during the 2005-2006 school year, both on and off the school campus.

Ichord was booked into the Monroe Detention Center and has since been released on bail, pending a future court appearance.
